This weekend includes practices in asana, pranayama and meditation and discussion of the philosophy of yoga applied to day-to-day life. Our explorations will include the teachings of the Koshas as a model for understanding how to create depth in practice on and off the mat. Understanding the physical, mental, energetic and cognitive yogas, allows us to rest effortlessly in the innate lucidity of the heart, where lasting shifts occur. Bringing together yoga practice with contemplation of the dharma, this weekend will be a renewal for your body and a re-inspiration for your mind and heart. Intermediate and Advanced levels are welcome. Sarahjoy Marsh, MA, Founder and Director of amrita: a sanctuary for yoga, in Portland, is a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor and Teacher Trainer.
